It is open to ALL WSUV students, but truly if one or more of you guys can't win, it would be embarrassing. Please enter. WSU Vancouver Student YouTube Video Contest
The Office of Marketing & Communications is conducting a YouTube video contest. This is an excellent opportunity for you to exercise your creative skills, showcase your work in a public forum, and share your school pride with the world! All videos submitted by WSU Vancouver students will be uploaded by the Office of Marketing & Communications to both YouTube.com as well as to WSU Vancouver’s iTunes U site.
Contest Rules
Participants: All WSU Vancouver students are invited to participate.
Content: Videos must address the theme, “What I like most about WSU Vancouver.” Videos must be original in nature and presented from a first-person perspective.
Style: Videos must be candid, reflect the individual student’s experience at WSU Vancouver and be representative of the individual student’s artistic interpretation. NOTE: videos with offensive or illegal content will not be accepted.
Length: Videos must be no longer than 5 minutes in length. Videos exceeding
5 minutes in length will be automatically disqualified.
Credits: Students must list their names in the credits of their video.
Contest begins: January 5th, but students can get started over the holiday break.
Due date: Submissions are due no later than Feb. 15th. Judging begins February 25th.
Format: Please submit videos in QuickTime format to Joe Winton in the Office of Marketing & Communications, winton@vancouver.wsu.edu
Awards Ceremony: The ceremony will take place Tuesday, March 4th, 11:30am – 1:00pm in the Firstenburg Student Commons. Bring a brown bag lunch, and preview the videos before they go live on YouTube! Contestants need not be present to win.
Prizes: Prizes for winning videos include Apple video iPods, WSU Vancouver merchandise and more!
Judging: Videos will be judged by a jury of media specialists from both within and outside of the WSU Vancouver community.
